BCS Championship Rant
As vocal supporter of a real National Championship for the
FBS, I couldn’t wait for the big stage.
I have been crafting a blog post to rant about how I feel about the BCS
and their outcome for cancelling the BCS Championship this year and creating the SCS.
I was just about to publish my well articulated rant, and then Rocky forwarded me
a YouTube video. I decided that my rant
was not even in the same league as this one.

College Football Division Primer
FBS - Football Bowl Subdivision (fka Division 1-A, aka D-1,
fka University Division). This is the highest level of intercollegiate
athletics sanctioned by the NCAA (National College Athletic Association in the
United States). Yet, no real football championship playoffs.
FCS – Football Championship Subdivision (fka – Division I
AA, fka College Division). They have a
real football championship playoff system.
SCS - SEC Championship Series (fka The Bowl Championship
Series, National Championship, aka FCG - Fictitious Championship Game; aka the
SCR – SEC Championship Re-do).This game pits the top 2 SEC schools in the final
BCS rankings.
