The three wise men (known to some as Rocky Bowl Commissioners) want to welcome the new, the past, the young and the old Rocky Bowlers back for another great year.
For a measly $20 entry fee (… and a chance to win big $$$), you will have 35 bowl games to evaluate, prognosticate and guess. If you have been a Rocky Bowler in the past you understand it is not so easy. If you’re new to the Rocky Bowl you will find out in a year or two it is entirely luck for some and true skill for others. Last year, 3 of the top 5 finishers combined ages add up to 25.

Clicking, downloading, reading and following directions is your first step to your chance for big fun and winnings. Once again we will pay out $1,380.00 in prize money and the balance after minimal expenses for the Rocky Bowl party will go to charity. Last year the Rocky Bowl donated $500.00 to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research.
Last year, Rocky Bowlers enjoyed the latest in the internet craze and joined Twitter (http://twitter.com/rockybowl), Facebook (Friends of Rocky Bowl) and Windows Live (email: rockybowl@live.com). We will keep everyone updated with score sheets and access to the blog at http://rockybowl2012.blogspot.com. There will be prizes along the way for insightful and humorous comments and blog posts. If you have an idea for a blog post, email it to us and we will get it published.
The three wise commissioners will host another Rocky Bowl party this year on December 30th at Rocky’s house and we look forward to you being here. (Due to space only Rocky Bowl participants and a quest will be invited).
We three commissioners Rocky, Doug and Jim hope that each and every one of you enjoys watching and caring about each meaningless game (especially the SEC Championship Re-Do).

ReplyDelete1) Select a winner of each game by entering a number 1 - 35 next to your choice for the winning team.
2) Ensure that point values are used only once. Cells with duplicate entries will have red text like this …. Excel 2007+ Only...
3) Use the "Entered Values" column to the right to keep track of values you already entered.4) Ensure your total Points equals MAX Pts - 630.
5) Send your completed form (with your name in the filename) to rockybowl@live.com
6) Entry Deadline: Before first game on Dec. 17th at 11:00am PDT/2:00 EDT. Folks in other time zones, figure it out :)

10) The Rocky Bowl Party is scheduled for Fri Dec 30th. Leader in attendance after each game at Rocky Bowl Party will wear the yellow jersey and your picture will be posted on the web site. The winner after game 18 will be awarded the Bobby Breeze Trophy and $50.
